As a dealership, you will need to subscribe to the Facebook service, this can be activated by the Jeal Team before any of these options below become available.
Once EasyCars is linked to your business Facebook Page, you will need to give permission to your users in EasyCars to view Facebook Messages.
By default users which are an Administrator & Sales Manager will be able to receive messages in the chat window.
If you don’t want any users to have access to view Facebook Messages via EasyCars, you can disable this entirely.
Facebook needs to know your exact location to be able to publish your ads successfully. A requirement for you to upload to the Marketplace is to store the Latitude and Longitude.
In addition to your normal vehicle description you can add an extra description to each of your vehicles. This is normally a generic sentence or paragraph about your company.
NOTE: There is a criteria that needs to be met for a vehicle to be advertised. If this isn’t met the vehicle will not be uploaded to Facebook Marketplace.
Any fields containing red, will require you to fix the vehicle before it can be loaded onto the Marketplace.
In the below example you can see that the Colour, Description and minimum number of photos are missing. These need to be filled in before the vehicle will be published. Click the Pencil button and then save after the changes have been made.
As with any advertising within EasyCars you can choose which vehicles are uploaded to the Facebook Marketplace. The process is different to advertising to other advertisers via EasyCars. You don’t need to ‘Upload’ stock to Facebook as you do with other advertisers. EasyCars will upload on your behalf. You do need to configure which vehicles need to be uploaded and to ensure vehicles are validated correctly prior to uploading.
When an enquiry is made on a vehicle on Facebook Marketplace, anyone who has permission to receive messages in EasyCars will receive a notification in EasyCars.
IMPORTANT: messages that come through the chat window will be available for 24 hours. If a message isn’t replied to within 24 hours, messages cannot be replied to via EasyCars, they will need to reply via Messenger in Facebook.
You can create a contact via the chat window. EasyCars will check to see if there is already a contact in EasyCars with the same name. This makes it easier for future ability to create a lead from the Facebook enquiry.
